GB Chief Minister’s Swearing-In Postponed Due to Bilawal’s Schedule

Jarida Report

The swearing-in ceremony of Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister-elect Amjad Hussain Advocate, originally scheduled for July 1, has been postponed.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Amjad Hussain Advocate said the ceremony had been deferred due to the busy schedule of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

He said Bilawal would attend the oath-taking ceremony as the chief guest, adding that a new date for the event would be announced later.

Amjad Hussain Advocate, who serves as president of the PPP’s Gilgit-Baltistan chapter, was recently elected to the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly for a second consecutive term.
