At least eight people were killed and another injured after a fire broke out at a textile factory in southern China, state news agency Xinhua reported on Monday.
The blaze erupted at around 3pm local time on Sunday at the factory in Foshan, a city in Guangdong province.
Authorities said rescue operations were underway following the fire.
