Azeri woman Diana, who is the complainant in the Lahore assault case, appeared before the court where she recorded her statement in the presence of the investigation officer (IO).
The court was satisfied that Diana was recording her statement voluntarily and without any pressure or inducement.
In her statement, Diana told the court that she arrived in Islamabad from Istanbul on 13 September 2026. After spending five days in Faisalabad, she travelled to Lahore.
She said she had originally planned to visit Skardu but, because she was travelling alone, messaged two links, Nimra and Muskan, to meet her in Lahore.
Diana further stated that she went alone to a café at around 11:00 PM, where Muskan joined her. The two women had a meal before a white car arrived at about 2:00 AM. They then travelled to an apartment, where they ate.
According to Diana, two boys later arrived at the apartment. One was identified as Ali Zain, while she said she did not know the other man’s name.
She told the court that Nimra and Mohsin went into a separate room to talk, while Muskan later joined them.
Diana alleged that Nimra took between Rs.20,000 and Rs.30,000 from Mohsin, saying the money was for a party.
She further alleged that Mohsin then tried to touch her and locked her in a separate room.
According to her, when she asked about Nimra and Muskan, she was told that they had already left.
She said she asked to be allowed to leave as well, but was allegedly told: “You cannot leave because your friend has taken the money.”
Diana told the court that she offered the men Rs.30,000, but alleged that Ali Zain threatened and blackmailed her. She also said the men asked her to drink alcohol and then Mohsin, Ahmed and Ali Zain raped her.
The woman told the court that she was later taken to a car. She said Mohsin was driving, Ahmed was also in the vehicle, while Ali Zain was sitting beside her.
Diana said her bag contained Rs.200,000 and two mobile phones. She alleged that the bag was not returned to her and that she was told it would be handed back on the condition that she did not report the matter to the police.
According to Diana, she initially agreed not to contact the police. However, when she later said she wanted to inform them, she alleged that she was threatened.
She further told the court that Ahmed and Ali Zain opened the car door and pushed her out of the vehicle.
Diana said she then asked people nearby to call the police emergency number, 15. She said people present at the site came to help her and police officers subsequently arrived at the scene.
