The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) claimed that the watchdog recovered more than Rs 6 trillion during the year 2025.
Deputy Chairman NAB, Sohail Nasir, while briefing the media on NAB’s performance, said that anti-graft watchdog achieved a record-breaking recovery of Rs6.213 trillion, the highest annual figure since the Bureau’s inception in 1999. He revealed that the Kohistan scandal has expanded to Rs 40 billion, out of which Rs 6 billion has already been recovered. He added that in the Kohistan scandal, huge sums of money were hidden inside walls and paint containers.
