World Rejects Trump’s Gaza Takeover Plan, Reaffirms Support for Two-State Solution

Jarida Report

President Donald Trump’s recent proposal for the United States to take over the Gaza Strip, resettle its Palestinian inhabitants in other countries, and transform the area into the Riviera of the Middle East has been met with widespread international criticism. Many nations and leaders have reiterated their support for a two-state solution as the viable path to peace in the region.

Saudi Arabia: The Saudi foreign ministry emphasized that the kingdom will not formalize ties with Israel unless an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital is established. They stated that Saudi Arabia will continue its relentless efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that.

Australia: Prime Minister Anthony Albanese reaffirmed Australia’s long-standing bipartisan support for a two-state solution, advocating for the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, with both peoples living in peace and security. He stated, We have had a long-standing bipartisan position for a two-state solution.

These reactions underscore the global consensus favoring a two-state solution over unilateral actions that could further destabilize the region.
