In the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, both nations have accused each other of responsibility for a deadly attack on a former school building in the town of Sudzha, located in Russia’s Kursk region. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that a Russian-guided aerial bomb struck the building on Saturday, resulting in four fatalities and four serious injuries. Additionally, 80 individuals were rescued from the debris. The Ukrainian Air Force condemned the attack, labeling it a “signature style of Russian criminals,” even when the victims are local residents.
Conversely, Russia’s defense ministry accused Ukraine of launching a targeted missile strike on the boarding school, describing it as a “war crime” and stating that a criminal case had been initiated against a Ukrainian commander allegedly responsible for the attack.
This incident highlights the escalating tensions and the ongoing exchange of accusations between the two nations, with each side attributing blame to the other for attacks on civilian infrastructure.
