At least seven people lost their lives and 16 others were injured on Friday when a passenger bus collided with a trailer near the Havelian interchange on the Hazara Motorway.
According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, the bus was travelling from Hunza to Rawalpindi when the accident occurred.
Following the collision, the bodies of those killed and the injured passengers were transported to Ayub Medical Complex and Benazir Hospital.
Motorway Police confirmed that an investigation had been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash and determine its cause.
Further details regarding the identities of the victims and the condition of the injured passengers were not immediately available.
