CCD Official Booked for Alleged Rape of Woman Twice in Lahore

Jarida Report

LAHORE: A Crime Control Department (CCD) official has been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman twice in the Kahna area and recording a video of her while she was undressed, according to a police complaint.

According to the FIR, the woman, a resident of Kot Lakhpat, lost her mobile phone while visiting Kahna Bazaar on October 1. She later visited Kahna Police Station to report the missing phone, where she met CCD official Muhammad Shabbir.

The complainant alleged that Shabbir took her contact number and later called her, claiming that her phone had been traced. He allegedly asked her to meet him on Ahlu Road, where he took her to a house belonging to a woman identified as Humaira Bibi.

The FIR states that Shabbir threatened the woman with a weapon, sexually assaulted her and recorded a video of her while she was undressed.

The complainant further alleged that Shabbir contacted her again on October 10 and summoned her to the same house, where he allegedly assaulted her a second time.

The woman said she initially approached Kahna Police Station to register a case but alleged that officials delayed action. She subsequently presented her complaint to DIG Operations Faisal Kamran during an open court.

Following her complaint, Kahna Police registered an FIR against Shabbir and launched an investigation into the allegations.
