JARANWALA: A woman allegedly killed her husband and wounded their three young daughters with a knife following a domestic dispute in Jaranwala, police said on Wednesday.
According to police, the incident occurred in Shehri Awana, where the woman, identified as Gulshan Bibi, allegedly attacked her husband, Khalid, with a knife.
Police said Gulshan allegedly stabbed Khalid in the neck and abdomen, causing fatal injuries that led to his death.
The woman also allegedly attacked their three daughters. The injured children were identified as 10-year-old Aneeka, eight-year-old Anaya and four-year-old Aiza.
All three girls were taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Police said their condition was out of danger.
The woman has been taken into custody, while police registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s brother.
