Russia Accuses UK of Complicity in Ukrainian Drone Strikes

Jarida Report

Russia’s Embassy in the United Kingdom on Monday accused Britain of helping Ukraine carry out drone attacks deep inside Russian territory, claiming London’s involvement was escalating the conflict.

In a statement posted on Telegram, the embassy pointed to reports that Ukrainian forces had used British-made drones in strikes against targets inside Russia, arguing that the UK was supporting such operations while publicly advocating efforts to achieve peace.

Moscow accused London of acting as an accomplice to what it described as Ukrainian “terrorist attacks” and warned that increasing British support for Kyiv could carry consequences.

“The deeper the involvement in the conflict and the greater the support for Kyiv’s terrorist machine, the higher the price will be,” the embassy said.

According to a report by The Independent, citing The Times, Ukraine has deployed drones manufactured by two British companies in operations deep inside Russia during the past six months.

The reported targets included oil refineries in Volgograd and near Moscow, as well as logistics facilities and transport infrastructure.

Sites associated with Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, were also reportedly among the locations targeted.

The Russian Embassy presented the reported use of British-made equipment as evidence of London’s involvement. The account provided did not include a response from the British government or the drone manufacturers to the allegations.
