Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to encouraging foreign investment, saying the government would provide every possible facilitation to investors during a meeting with Lord Zamir Choudrey, a member of the UK House of Lords.
According to Pakistan Television (PTV), Naqvi said Pakistan offered significant investment opportunities and that the government was committed to creating a supportive environment for both local and international investors.
He also said Pakistan’s efforts to promote lasting peace in the region were continuing.
“God willing, our efforts will yield positive results this time as well,” Naqvi said.
Lord Choudrey praised Pakistan’s initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir had made commendable efforts to strengthen regional stability.
Lord Choudrey added that the government’s positive economic policies were creating greater opportunities for investment in Pakistan.
