Jarida Report

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the Sky47 AI Cloud and Data Centre in Rawalpindi, describing it as a major milestone in Pakistan’s digital infrastructure and saying the facility would strengthen the country’s technological capabilities and data security.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the prime minister called the project “remarkable and truly inspiring,” saying it had been completed in record time through the efforts of experts from both the military and civilian sectors.

“The state-of-the-art data centre is amazing and commendable. I am extremely happy to witness this grand project,” he said.

Shehbaz commended the leadership of the Field Marshal, saying the facility had been completed under his supervision within a record timeframe.

The prime minister said the project would provide “impregnable security” for digital infrastructure and serve as a model for future national development.

“If we follow this model … I am absolutely convinced more than ever before not only will we be able to compensate for the losses of the past but, InshaAllah, we will create a new, very dynamic, forward-looking Pakistan, which is the need of the hour,” he said.

Referring to Pakistan’s Marka-e-Haq against India last year, Shehbaz described it as one of the country’s defining moments and said it demonstrated the nation’s resilience and capability.
