The United States on Friday released a fourth batch of declassified files on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs, as part of an ongoing effort to make historical government records public.
Announcing the release, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said the newly declassified documents have been published on the Department of Defense’s website.
“The Department of War is publishing the fourth release of declassified and historical Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) files,” Parnell said.
He added that the Pentagon, in coordination with partner agencies, is continuing to review historical records and will publish additional files on a rolling basis.
The latest release follows three earlier batches made public on May 8, May 22 and June 12 as part of a broader declassification initiative launched by the Trump administration.
