Ishaq Dar’s Grandson Among Four Held in Lahore Gang Rape Case

Jarida Report

Muhammad Raza Dar, the grandson of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, was among four suspects arrested in connection with the alleged gang rape of two foreign women in Lahore, police said.

A Lahore court on Friday remanded the four suspects Raza Dar, Hassan Raza, Sikandar Khan and Sajid Ali into five-day police custody. Police said a fifth suspect remains at large and efforts are underway to arrest him.

According to investigators, the victims, who are nationals of the Netherlands and Venezuela, were allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted after arriving in Lahore on June 29. Police said the women were rescued after one of their fathers contacted authorities from Spain.

The FIR was registered under Sections 365A (kidnapping) and 375A (gang rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Police said the women had met Raza Dar in Singapore in October 2025 through a cryptocurrency venture, after which he allegedly arranged business visas for their visit to Pakistan.

According to the complainants, they were taken to a house upon arriving in Lahore, where they were allegedly gang raped and held for ransom. A court official said the victims identified Raza Dar as the prime suspect during the court proceedings.
