A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Kohlu district in Balochistan on Friday, with tremors felt across the district and surrounding areas, causing panic among residents.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 18 kilometres, with its epicentre located about 65 kilometres northeast of Kohlu.
The tremors prompted residents to leave their homes as a precaution.
Authorities said there were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage. Officials are expected to assess the affected areas while monitoring the situation for any possible aftershocks.
