The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast widespread dust storms, strong winds, rain and thunderstorms across several parts of the country from June 11 to June 13, warning of possible urban flooding, landslides and damage to infrastructure.
According to the Met department, a western weather system is expected to enter the upper regions of Pakistan on June 11 and remain active until June 13. Moist winds from the Arabian Sea are also likely to move into the upper and central parts of the country during the period.
