Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend in both international and Pakistani markets after recording gains for a fourth consecutive session.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan increased by Rs2,830 per tola to reach Rs455,063.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,547 to Rs389,534, while 22-karat gold gained Rs2,306 to reach Rs357,225 per 10 grams.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $28.3 per ounce to $4,326.27.
Silver prices also moved higher in Pakistan, with 24-karat silver increasing by Rs141 per tola to Rs7,314, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs129 to Rs6,245.
