Sindh Facing Severe Water Shortage, Says Sharjeel Memon

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the province is currently facing a severe water shortage.

In a statement issued from Karachi, Memon said the water scarcity is not only affecting the agricultural sector but is also threatening water supply to the entire province, including Karachi.

He stated that the overall water shortage across Sindh has reached 22 percent.

According to him, water shortages of 42 percent and 29 percent have been recorded at the Guddu Barrage and Kotri Barrage, respectively.
