The government has announced a reduction in jet fuel and kerosene prices, in contrast to an increase in petrol and diesel rates, reflecting a mixed adjustment in petroleum product pricing.
The price of jet fuel used in commercial aircraft has been reduced by Rs7.76 per litre, bringing it down from Rs396.31 to Rs388.58 per litre. Similarly, the price of kerosene oil has been decreased by Rs4.45 per litre, lowering it from Rs365.21 to Rs360.76 per litre.
