Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally launched the “Prime Minister Apna Ghar Scheme” and distributed bank cheques among eligible individuals who qualified for housing loans.
Under the scheme, loans of up to Rs10 million are being provided on easy terms.
The initiative will be implemented across all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the successful applicants of the scheme and said that participation in the ceremony of the Prime Minister Apna Ghar Scheme is a matter of great pleasure for him. He said that providing shelter is a sacred responsibility.
