Conflict With Iran Not Over, New Developments Are Possible: Netanyahu

Jarida Report

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the confrontation with Iran is not over and that new developments could emerge at any moment.

Speaking to journalists in Jerusalem during a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei, Netanyahu said Israel remains in a state of war with Iran and the situation is still ongoing. The remarks come as US President Donald Trump announced that Vice President JD Vance will lead the next round of negotiations in Islamabad aimed at ending the conflict with Iran.

Trump said negotiators would be sent to Islamabad before the ceasefire deadline on Wednesday. However, he accused Tehran of violating the existing ceasefire agreement in the Strait of Hormuz. He also warned that if a final peace agreement is not reached, the United States could target Iran’s power stations and bridges.
