Two police officials, including a lady constable, were martyred when miscreants opened fire at a police party in Khuzdar, a city in Balochistan province, on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident took place in Khuzdar’s sub-tehsil Baghbana where a police team conducted a raid following a complaint about the theft of solar panels. During the operation, armed militants opened fire, triggering a heavy exchange.
Police confirmed that Head Constable Samiullah and Lady Constable Malik Naz were martyred in the attack while Additional SHO Ibrahim Sheikh and Constable Najeeb Ullah were critically wounded.
