Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has concluded his official visit to Saudi Arabia and is now heading to Doha, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Thursday. The PMO stated that the prime minister will hold a bilateral meeting in Doha with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss matters of mutual interest.
According to PMO, a meeting between Shehbaz Sharif and Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah lasted for nearly two hours, during which both leaders held detailed discussions on the evolving regional situation.
The statement said the prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia in light of rising regional tensions. He also praised the Kingdom’s patience and restraint in the current circumstances.
