Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with US Ambassador Natalie Baker to discuss Pakistan–United States relations and ways to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on preventing illegal immigration and emphasized the importance of an effective pre-immigration clearance system. They agreed to strengthen cooperation at all levels between law enforcement agencies, particularly in the field of police training. It was also decided to take joint action under comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) against fake and fraudulent visa networks.
