Karan, who has been enjoying steady fame since his 2024 hit song Tauba Tauba, has been hit with a wave of allegations after a US-based singer claimed he hid his marital status and engaged in an extramarital affair with her.
The influencer, who goes by the name Miss Gauri on Instagram, alleged that she was in a relationship with Karan Aujla without knowing that he was already married. In a series of Instagram posts, she claimed that she discovered the truth only later and was subsequently pressured into silence and publicly defamed. Miss Gauri further alleged that after the controversy surfaced, Aujla’s team contacted an Indian influencer to spread misinformation in an attempt to suppress the issue. She also claimed that false criminal allegations were circulated against her on social media, which gained traction in Western countries but were deliberately downplayed in India.
