Google Will Invest Billions of Dollars in AI Data Centre in India

$15 billion will be invested by Google to set up an artificial intelligence data centre in India’s southern state of Andhra Pradesh, a company official said on Tuesday. It will be Google’s biggest ever investment in the country. “It’s the largest AI hub that we are going to be investing in anywhere in the world outside of the United States,” Thomas Kurian, the Google Cloud CEO said at a New Delhi event.
