Pakistan Opens Chaman Border For a Brief Period for Afghan Refugees to Return Home

Chaman officials said that a large number of Afghan refugees who came to Chaman for their return to Afghanistan, were left stranded at the border after Pakistani authorities closed the border with Afghanistan and shut the Friendship Gate because of clashes between Pakistan and Afghan soldiers
The Chaman administration made the decision to open the border for two and a half hours while around 200 Afghan families returned home.
