Imran Khan’s nephews: The former Prime minister of Pakistan,Imran khan’s sister Aleema Khan’s sons have been arrested in lahore.
A day after arrest of Shahrez Khan, the central Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub confirmed the arrest of Shershah Khan as well, condemning “these barbaric actions” of Punjab police and the “Hybrid Regime.
It has been reported that Shahrez was arrested for his alleged involvement in the May 9 cases,interestingly the very next day of Imran khan’s bail announcement when the accused had been in Pakistan for the past 27 months. He was later presented in the court today.
Police said that people involved in anti-state activities did not deserve leniency. “The law is the same for everyone, and the suspect will be presented in court in the morning,” they said.
It should be noted that Imran Khan’s sister had a day ago claimed that four masked armed men abducted her son Shahrez from her home.
She said that her son was on the upper floor of the house with his wife and father when the armed men, dressed in plain clothes, barged into the house through the kitchen. The armed men harassed the divers and family members in the house as well.
Questioning the validity of the case, Raja alleged that during the events of May 9, Shahrez was in Chitral.
