8 More Palestinians Killed in Gaza as Death Toll Rises to 73,066

Jarida Report

At least eight Palestinians were killed and 26 others injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, bringing the overall death toll since October 2023 to 73,066, according to the territory’s Health Ministry.

In its daily update on Tuesday, the ministry said hospitals across Gaza received eight bodies and 26 wounded people during the reporting period.

The ministry did not specify the circumstances of the latest casualties, saying the Israeli military continued to violate the October 2025 ceasefire through shelling and gunfire in various parts of the enclave.

It added that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or on roads, with ambulance and civil defence teams still unable to reach them.

According to the ministry, 1,053 people have been killed and 3,406 injured in incidents linked to alleged Israeli ceasefire violations. The overall toll since October 2023 has risen to 73,066 deaths and 173,514 injuries, it said.
