UAE-based low-cost airline flydubai has commenced daily flights between Dubai and Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport. The inaugural flight, FZ 375, arrived on May 16, 2025, carrying 164 passengers and was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to mark the occasion. The return flight departed for Dubai at 2:20 AM PKT with 184 passengers on board.
Bacha Khan International Airport serves as a significant hub in Pakistan, with approximately 75% of its flights being international. The addition of flydubai’s daily service is expected to enhance connectivity between Peshawar and the Gulf region, providing more travel options for passengers.
This expansion aligns with flydubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in Pakistan, complementing its existing services to cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and others.
