ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has urged Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia to avoid sharing pictures, videos or unverified information about drone attacks and other sensitive incidents on social media.
In a video statement, Ashrafi called on Pakistani citizens to comply with Saudi laws and Interior Ministry instructions, particularly regarding security-related information.
He specifically advised against sharing footage of Houthi attacks, interception efforts, debris, security installations or sensitive locations.
The warning comes amid heightened security concerns in Saudi Arabia, as the Makkah Alliance’s Strategic Political and Defence Committee also discussed threats facing the kingdom and condemned attacks targeting Saudi cities, civilians and economic installations.
