Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep concern and strongly condemned the firing incident at the dera of Punjab Assembly member Ayub Gadhi in Toba Tek Singh.
The prime minister directed authorities to complete the inquiry into the incident at the earliest, identify those responsible, and ensure the culprits are brought to justice.
In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Ayub Gadhi is among the hardworking workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and termed the attack during a public gathering at his dera “highly concerning.”
The prime minister also prayed for the departed souls of those who lost their lives in the incident and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
