A collision between the oil tanker Stena Immaculate and the cargo ship Solong occurred in the North Sea, approximately 16 kilometers off the East Yorkshire coast near Hull, England, on March 10, 2025. The incident resulted in a significant fire, with both vessels ablaze and emitting thick black smoke. All 36 crew members from both ships were rescued; 32 were brought ashore for treatment, and one individual was hospitalized. The UK Coastguard coordinated a major rescue operation, deploying helicopters, lifeboats, and firefighting vessels. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
