ISLAMABAD: The daughters of Noreen Niazi have raised concerns about their mother’s health following a one-hour meeting with her in jail, reporting visible signs of physical weakness.
Hajira Niazi and Sakina Niazi met their mother during a visit arranged on court orders, according to lawyer Rana Mudassar Umar.
Following the meeting, the daughters informed the lawyer that their mother was unwell and appeared physically weak.
Umar also expressed concern over the medical facilities available to Noreen Niazi, stating that complaints of heart pain could not be adequately treated in jail.
The lawyer highlighted the need for appropriate medical attention, while the family remains concerned about her health and access to treatment during detention.
