Iran has yet to deliver its response to a proposed final agreement with the United States aimed at ending tensions between the two countries, according to a source close to Tehran’s negotiating team.
Speaking to Mehr News on Tuesday, the source said discussions over the final draft are still underway in Tehran and that Iranian officials are carefully examining the proposal due to longstanding distrust and concerns over previous US commitments.
“Iran is seeking practical and tangible gains based on past experiences,” the source said.
