CHARSADDA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Awami National Party (ANP) chief Aimal Wali Khan in Charsadda on Sunday, seeking the party’s cooperation for the betterment of the province and its people.
“I have come here with the request for cooperation for the betterment of the Pashtun land and the nation,” Kundi told the ANP chief during the meeting.
Aimal Wali Khan said that although governor’s rule was a constitutional measure, he considered it an undemocratic step. However, he stressed that the reasons behind reaching this situation should also be examined.
“We had complaints, but I am sure these complaints will be addressed after talking with the governor,” the ANP leader said.
Aimal Wali Khan added that the ANP would support any side working for the betterment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
