KARACHI: Two separate robbery incidents in Karachi have resulted in the theft of Rs140 million from petrol pump and private company employees, police said.
In the first incident, four armed suspects on two motorcycles allegedly snatched Rs62 million from two petrol pump employees outside a bank in Korangi No. 5.
CCTV footage shows the suspects taking a cash-filled bag before fleeing the scene. Police have launched an investigation.
In another incident on Tariq Road, three armed men allegedly looted Rs7.8 million from employees of a private company after they withdrew the cash from a bank.
Police are investigating both cases and working to identify and arrest the suspects.
