Iran has warned that final nuclear negotiations with the United States will not begin while threats continue, following recent remarks by US President Donald Trump.
In a statement posted on X, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said negotiations on a final agreement could not proceed in an atmosphere of threats and urged Washington to honour the memorandum of understanding signed by the two countries last month.
Araghchi said the interim agreement requires both sides to refrain from the threat or use of force and called on the United States to abide by its commitments before moving toward final negotiations.
