Suspects in Islamabad F-9 Park Assault Case Sent on Judicial Remand

In February 2025, a group of women were assaulted and robbed near Islamabad’s F-9 Park. The assailants stole 10 tolas of gold jewelry and Rs2 million in cash.  A video of the incident went viral, prompting swift action from the Islamabad Police. The main suspect was arrested, and stolen items were recovered.  The suspects were initially placed under a three-day physical remand, followed by judicial custody.  Subsequently, a settlement was reached between the victims and the accused, leading to the suspect’s release on bail on March 7.
