Gold and silver prices rose in both local and international markets on Saturday, reversing the previous day’s decline.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,100 per tola to Rs433,536, while the price of 10 grams climbed by Rs943 to Rs371,687. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also rose by Rs864, reaching Rs340,725.
In the international bullion market, gold gained $11 per ounce, taking the price to $4,111.
Silver also posted gains in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver increased by Rs30 per tola to Rs6,462, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs26 to Rs5,540.
