Gold prices declined sharply in both domestic and international markets on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan falling by Rs10,400 to Rs432,236, down from Rs442,636 a day earlier.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs9,360 to Rs368,985, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs8,508 to Rs338,575.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $104 per ounce, settling at $4,098 compared with $4,202 in the previous session.
Silver prices also moved lower. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs487 to Rs6,664, while 10 grams of silver declined by Rs438 to Rs5,641.
