The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says it has started “a multi-phase operation” to supervise hostage and prisoner releases as part of the Gaza ceasefire. Gaza’s Leadership Hamas will release 20 surviving Israeli hostages, with an additional 28 hostages. 26 dead and 2 whose status is unknown.
As part of the agreement, Israel is set to release almost 2,000 Palestinian detainees today. They boarded buses at Israeli Prisons and most of them are expected to be released at Gaza’s Nasser hospital today according to an official who is involved in the operation
