Charlie’s life and death proclaim Jesus Christ’s love, truth, and everlasting kingdom

Glory Through Sacred Sacrifice

Rev. Javed Yousaf

Perhaps I am one of those unfortunate men who live to see their young daughters become widows with their own eyes. I saw you collapse over the body of your beloved, who is no more—flown away before the Majestic Throne of the King in white robes, robes made white in the sacred blood of the Lamb.

I cannot tell you not to weep, for your beloved is gone. Yet this is also a time to be comforted, for he has taken his special flight to Jesus, our King. I am a poor pastor; I have no gold or silver to give you. But since his departure—his flight to his Jesus—I have been praying for peace and comfort for you, for your sweet children, and for Charlie’s parents, who raised such a humble and wise soul to serve Jesus, to love his country, and to uphold the true cause of America: to exalt the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, our Saviour, and our King forever and ever.

Now the battle is between truth and evil, between Light and Darkness. Only a year ago, our President Trump was spared by the holy angels when a bullet narrowly missed his neck. God saved him to complete His plan. But He took Charlie into His heavenly garden. Remember: God says this is not the end. Charlie has already proved himself a milestone. His blood has baptized millions of “Charlies,” ready to spread the name of Jesus Christ in America. They will leave no stone unturned in uprooting the bitter seeds sown by liberalism—seeds planted only to collect votes, even by legalising sin. These sins have become the reason our brave and beloved young people give their precious lives. Yet their reward is a crown of glory.

President Trump, young men like Charlie are a Burning Bush in your hands. Their light, filled with the Fire of the Holy Spirit, is drawing people to God through Jesus Christ. Honestly, before his martyrdom I did not know him well. Even when President Trump cried out, “Why did they kill Charlie Kirk?” I paid little attention. But as I began to read and watch what people shared online, I was astonished. A true saint of this era had given his life. In one video I saw him smiling, teaching about Jesus Christ, and then he fell to the ground in a critical state, giving his life to his Lord. His beloved wife forgave her husband’s killer. If he had lived longer, without doubt he too would have forgiven his murderer—just as his Master and King, Jesus Christ, forgave His own. Charlie is a martyr, like St. Stephen, the first martyr of Jesus Christ.

My dear child Erica, and sweet children: your husband and father was a man remembered across the world, wherever heads bowed and knees bent before Jesus. People are born and die every day, but few are honoured like your husband. A state funeral was held; his name was lifted in prayer in every church. What great respect and honour he received! Every eye was wet with tears. And his own father handed over the accused son to the law, refusing to give him legal help.

In the end, I humbly appeal to my President Trump: our educational institutions are not safe. Anyone can enter with a weapon. Increase their security. And as a conservative Republican, I ask: when our young people work for the Constitution of the country and for the Lord Jesus Christ, kindly provide them and their families with adequate protection.

Erica, my dear daughter, and sweet children—I love you and always pray for you. My respect also to Charlie’s parents and siblings. May you all be held in the blessings and protection of Jesus Christ.
