A New Political Party for My Pakistan

A New Political Party for My Pakistan

A political party is formed to achieve certain goals and decisions. I highly appreciate that the All-India Muslim League was formed in 1906, with the objective of securing a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent, where they could live according to Islam, Islamic Shariah, and Islamic standards of life. As a result of this struggle, the Muslims of the subcontinent obtained their homeland in two parts: West Pakistan and East Pakistan. Both were united under one umbrella, one constitution, and one central authority, called Pakistan.

Why am I writing these few lines from America for my people, even though I know that perhaps no one will pay heed to them?

Has anybody ever thought about why our youth are founding new political parties? It is because our old flock is hanging on the highest branches in such a way that no new flowers can grow. If one understands the principles of gardening, it becomes clear that pruning is necessary for the good health of any tree. Old fruit becomes a burden; it rots, smells, and weakens the tree itself.

The same principle applies to any country. In Pakistan, a few political parties have been operating for many decades. Their leaders are still hanging on, sucking the juice of the tree. As a result, the growth of the tree has stopped. Only old fruit continues to grow miserably, while waiting for their children to grow to the same level and take their positions. Eventually, not only children but grandchildren also appear on the branches.

Has anybody ever thought about why this happens? It is because the grandparents have squeezed so much juice from the tree that they now need their children and grandchildren to act as corks to block the leaking holes. These holes have become too large and too visible to the naked eye, so only their own children can fit into them.

These old fruits use democracy very wisely as their strongest tool to retain power. They have accumulated immense wealth and invest it heavily in the media—print, electronic, and digital. They hire influential figures to direct voters towards them. Some of these fruits label their heirs as sons, lions, leopards, or mujahideen. These individuals are highly paid, and even paid officials stand with them. Their sole objective is to ensure that their fruit remains on the tree, on ever-higher branches. For decades, these stinking fruits have been hanging on the tree of Pakistan. It is only by the mercy of God that this tree is still alive.

Now the deal is simple: when someone invests heavily to win, they want to win again. To recover their investment, they begin selling whatever they have gained. First, they sell themselves, their position, influence, or vote, to select someone else. Then they sell employment, quotas, jobs, development projects, and even opportunities for Hajj. Once elected, they have countless chances to recover their investment. This cycle has continued for decades.

My Pakistan is called an underdeveloped country, yet these old, stinking fruits are among the richest people known internationally. They are so powerful that they can sell anything; airplanes, airlines, and even grant vast pieces of national land as gifts. Who can question them? They sit on the highest branches. The media serves them, justice dances at their fingertips, and their loyal supporters protect them even within taxation systems.

Many times, I have requested the ultimate authority of my country, Field Marshal Hafiz Asim Munir, and our Ghazis, to participate in active politics. They are tested men of this nation, and their loyalty to Pakistan is beyond doubt. They can prove to be the strongest steps on the ladder of development. If governance improves, our businessmen, farmers, and labourers will contribute fully to national income, trade will grow, and our worth as a nation will increase.

Sir, to restore the dignity and integrity of the country, you have removed some stinking fruits. Now test our tested heroes. They are available all over Pakistan.

God bless Pakistan.
