LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reportedly sustained injuries after becoming dizzy and falling while walking inside his barracks at Kot Lakhpat Jail.
His lawyer, Barrister Taimur Malik, said Qureshi suffered injuries to his knee, arm and other parts of his body in the incident.
According to Malik, jail authorities collected blood samples from the former foreign minister and sent them to Shaukat Khanum Hospital for testing.
The lawyer said Qureshi’s health deteriorated following the fall, prompting the authorities to arrange medical tests.
