KARACHI: The Sindh Police has introduced an online facility that allows citizens to apply for a Police Verification Certificate without visiting a police office in person.
The process can be completed through the Sindh Police website by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the Sindh Police Website
Visit the official Sindh Police website and select Online Services from the homepage. Then choose Police Verification.
Step 2: Start a New Application
Applicants applying for the first time should select New Application to begin the process.
Step 3: Enter Personal Details
Applicants will be required to provide the following information:
- Full name and father’s name
- Date of birth
- CNIC number, issue date and expiry date
- Mobile number
- Current residential address and the date of residence
- District and country of residence
- Destination country for which the certificate is required
Step 4: Provide Guarantor Details
Applicants must provide details of two guarantors, including:
- Name and father’s name
- CNIC number
- Mobile number
- Residential address
Step 5: Upload Required Documents
Applicants must upload clear copies of the required documents, including:
- Passport-sized photograph
- Utility bills, such as gas, electricity or water bills
- Any other supporting documents requested by the system
Step 6: Submit the Application
After entering all the required information and uploading the documents, click Submit to complete the online application for the Police Verification Certificate.
The online facility allows applicants to initiate the verification process from home, making the application procedure more convenient.
