Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited Pakistan Navy units deployed at sea and in the Creeks Area on Sunday to review the ongoing Exercise SEASPARK 2026, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The biennial exercise, which began on September 1, is designed to rehearse a broad range of maritime operations while assessing the Navy’s operational preparedness and its ability to shift rapidly from peacetime to wartime operations.
“Reflecting the changing character of warfare, this year’s exercise integrates Operations in the Information Environment, Multi-Domain Operations and extensive use of unmanned systems,” the ISPR said.
During the visit, Admiral Ashraf interacted with personnel participating in the exercise and reviewed their operational activities.
According to the ISPR, the naval chief praised the personnel for their “professionalism, high morale, operational readiness and resolve to remain invincible at sea”.
Exercise SEASPARK is held periodically to test the Pakistan Navy’s combat readiness and its ability to conduct coordinated maritime operations under different operational scenarios.
