An Israeli airstrike destroyed a residential building in southern Lebanon early Saturday, killing at least seven people and wounding three, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency.
The building was located outside Ansar in the Nabatieh district, in the direction of Zrariyeh. Rescue crews were deployed to search the wreckage, retrieving victims and taking the wounded to hospitals in Nabatieh.
NNA described the attack as the deepest Israeli airstrike inside Lebanon since the ceasefire came into force two months ago.
