Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday in line with gains in the international bullion market, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,700 to Rs428,436, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,457 to Rs367,314.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also climbed by Rs1,335, reaching Rs336,716.
In the international bullion market, gold gained US$17 per ounce to trade at US$4,060.
Silver prices also moved higher in the local market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs54 to Rs6,291, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs46 to Rs5,393.
In international trading, silver prices advanced by US$0.54 per ounce to US$58.12, according to the association.
