Mild earthquake tremors were felt in parts of Karachi on Friday evening, causing brief concern among residents.
According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake measured 2.9 on the Richter scale. The tremors were felt at around 6pm in Shah Latif Town and nearby areas.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage, officials said.
Authorities said the situation is being monitored and relevant departments remain alert for any further developments.
